Whether you are learning about rock climbing anchors for the first time, refreshing your knowledge or wanting to check some of your notions about anchor building against the current international standard, this two hour, online session with our ACMG Guide will get you on the right track with your anchor construction and use.

Curriculum:
  • Anchor inspection
  • Anchor building 
  • Anchor changeovers
  • Tons of interactive Q&A where you can ask questions about whether those methods you've been using or have seen meet the current international standard

Included:
  • Two hours of online instruction/interaction with an ACMG Guide

This course is held online on the date and at the time listed. Video call login info will be sent in a pre-course email sent a few days before your course.
All you need is an internet connected device and optional cordage, slings and carabiners as described in the Equipment tab. No previous experience is required though some fundamental knowledge of knots and hitches and anchoring basics would allow you to get more out of the course.
All you'll need is a device connected to the internet and able to join a video call. You'll also want some slings and cordage as well as some carabiners handy. If you can mimic some of the bolt set-ups you see in the photos on this page that might be helpful as well.
